Fly a Real Airplane for $99
30 minutes at the controls of a Cessna 172 with a certified flight instructor, over the Mississippi Gulf Coast. No experience needed.
What is a Discovery Flight?
A Discovery Flight is your first real flight lesson. You sit in the left seat (the pilot's seat), your instructor sits next to you, and you fly the airplane. It's the easiest way to find out if flying is for you, without committing to a full training program.
What happens on your flight:
1. Walk-around. Your instructor shows you how pilots inspect the Cessna 172 before every flight.
2. Takeoff from a towered airport. You depart Gulfport-Biloxi International (KGPT) and hear real air traffic control.
3. You take the controls. Turns, climbs and descents over the Gulf Coast, with your instructor right beside you.
4. Land and debrief. Talk through what you flew and, if you want to keep going, what comes next.
